Christine Parfitt - Founder and Managing Director
Christine is a keen surfer and passionate environmentalist and became concerned about plastic pollution while living in Indonesia, working in turtle conservation. She holds a 1st class honours in Marine Science and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact. She is currently working on the issue of single-use plastics in Western Australia. |
Cassidy Fitzclarence
Cassidy is a passionate surfer who was overwhelmed by the huge amount of marine debris and poor awareness of littering he encountered while volunteering in environmental education in Sulawesi, Indonesia. He is strongly committed to supporting Indonesian people to preserve their marine and coastal environments. Cassidy has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and a post-graduate Certificate in Sustainability. |
Renee Grogan
Renee is a sustainability consultant with over 12 years’ experience in the resources sector. She has a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and a Master of Business Administration. She is a Director of the World Ocean Council and an Advisory Board member of the European Union Viable Alternative Mine Operating System Project. Renee influences ocean strategy through her role with the World Ocean Council, and joined Bottle for Botol to pair her strategic work with a contribution to more grass-roots action on the issue of ocean plastics. Cat brings expert knowledge on the Indonesia program and Australian schools program, having previously worked as Bottle for Botol's Education Program Manager in Indonesia. She has a PhD in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Tasmania and has worked as a consultant for NGOs in Australia and Indonesia. Cat is a fluent Bahasa-Indonesian speaker. |

Ajeng Idvatul Fitroh - School Support, Bali
Ajeng supports schools to deliver BfB's program in Bali. She joins BfB education classes and works with teachers to ensure they understand the material; collects monitoring data; and facilitates communication with Australian partner schools. Ajeng has lived in Bali for five years and graduated from Udayana University majoring in Agriculture. She is passionate about nature and plant cultivation technology. She joined BfB because she doesn’t want nature to be destroyed by plastic waste, and sees BfB’s program as a way to reduce single-use plastic and conserve nature and the ocean. |
Dara Datita Ginting - School Support, Nusa Lembongan, Bali
Dara joined the BfB team in 2019 to support schools on Nusa Lembongan deliver the education program. She grew up in Karo, North Sumatera, and moved to Bali in 2014. Graduating with a psychology major from Udayana University, Dara is skilled in building good relationship with schools and BfB partners. She believes education is the biggest key to raising human awareness about environmental issues, and that awareness leads to actions, making the world a better place. |
Sonia Asha Hasari - Marketing and Social Media
Sonia's work focuses on communicating with BfB's followers, developing creatives ideas for social media content. She also supports bottle sales, builds new partnerships and maintains good relations with current partners. She holds a Bachelor of Agriculture from Udayana University, and was the the Social Media Coordinator of Himagrotek – Student Association at the university. Sonia believes that through environmental education, the young generation will realize the danger of plastic waste and have more concern about protecting their own environment. |
