Complete Program 2017
Compare the Programs...
The Complete Program provides Australian schools with the opportunity to teach their students lessons within the Australian Curriculum in three key areas whilst creating real and positive change in the world:
• Sustainability and plastic waste education
• Cultural understanding & Asian engagement
• Social enterprise
The program provides teachers the opportunity to deliver activities that can be adapted to any level, from lower primary drawing activities to projects for senior commerce classes.
The new ‘taster’ program is a simplified and shortened version of our existing model. It is ideal for schools who want to provide their students with the opportunity to become leaders in creating a shift in attitudes and behaviours towards the use of single-use plastic, but cannot commit to our complete program, which requires ongoing involvement each year.
The taster program is flexible and is designed to fit into either a two-week block or divided across two lessons within the semester – ideal for providing content for a sustainability unit offered in the curriculum. The program benefits students who are exposed to a real life example of an organisation which exists to prevent plastic pollution. It also gives the school community an opportunity to fundraise for a cause which they feel passionate about – something in which we have received a growing amount of interest.
